Sunway University Press announces the 'Blue White Dot' short story competition!

29th September 2022

On the 14th February 1990, an historic photograph of Earth was taken by the Voyager 1 spacecraft as it exited the solar system. Coined a 'pale blue dot' by astronomer Carl Sagan, the photo reminds us all of our responsibility to care for the planet we live on and the lives here too.

With this in mind, Sunway University Press have launched a short story competition based on the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals - 17 goals to ensuring a better world for all. Your task is this: write a 2,500–3,500-word fictional story centred around the themes in the SDGs to stand a chance to get published! Entry is free and open to all.
